Dr. Jenny Sun

Prior to her dental career, Dr. Sun worked as Head of Chemistry for the United States Naval Medical Center in Japan. She was awarded a Commendation from the United States Navy in 1979.

Dr. Sun graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry, Honors Program, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985. Besides providing comprehensive restorative dentistry in her own private practice, she is an Assistant Professor and the past Co-Director of the Esthetic Course at the Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. She is an Accredited member of the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). She is also a faculty member of the Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute, teaching dentists the facial-dental complex in balance with the the jaw joints, muscles, bite, and esthetics.

Pursuing conservative, quality, and ethical dentistry, Dr. Sun has served as Chairperson in the Ethics Committee of the Tri-County Dental Society.She has also taught at the USC School of Dentistry, published papers in the American and International Journal of Dental Research and the Canadian Dental Journal. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International. She was also a past member of the Academy of San Gabriel Valley Periodontology directed by the Chairman of Periodontics of UCLA and the Academy of Orthodontics Straightwire.

As a leader with extensive knowledge and experience, Dr. Sun is able to provide a conservative, comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and esthetic approach for the diagnosis and treatment for the patients. The care and skills enable Dr. Sun to help patients improve and maintain their dental health for the preservation of quality of life into their mature years.
